About The Author
Bethany Wood is a retired teacher and lives in Ontario,Canada. she is dyslectic and had difficulty learning to read. With perseverance she overcame this tremendous hurdle.
She noticed like herself, many of her students struggled with learning to read. Bethany started writing small phonetic readers to help build confidence in her students and later progressed to writing children's bedtime story books.
At present Bethany writes children stories ranging from phonetic readers to teen novels. It is her hope to spark inquisitiveness in struggling young readers so they too will persevere through the struggles of learning to read and begin to love books and reading as she does.
